Before I Begin Listing Products: The optimal charger has a few characteristics:
- High Battery Capacity (Will hold more "Juice")
- Low Charging Time
- Two USB Ports (So you can charge your phone AND iPod, god forbid one breaks)
- Reasonably Priced
- Light (Not heavy)
- Rain and Dust/Mud Resistant
So Now to the Chargers:
The best, hands down, charger for the outdoors would be the Nekteck 12000mAh charger.
This charger has everything we look for, from a 12000mAh capacity, to a weight of 13.6 ounces. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone, and unless you have a thing against Nekteck, I am not even sure why you are going to read the second option.
This second charger is also very good. The GRDE 10000mAh Solar Charger,Solar Power Bank Dual USB Rain-Resistant Shockproof,Solar Powered Phone Charger for iPhone,iPod,iPad,Samsung,GPS,Camera is another fantastic charger. It has just a little bit less of a battery life than the Nekteck, just 10,000mAh. However, a neat thing this portable solar charger offers are two LED lights. These could come in handy on the trails.
This is it for now. Between these two chargers, you should be able to chose one that meets your needs.
