Today I am reviewing the ECEEN® 13W Solar Charger Foldable Portable Solar Panel With Dual USB. To put my new portable charger to the test, I completely drained my iPhone 5s, then ran a few tests of my own.

That is some pretty good stuff! My phone was done charging at around the 2 hour 15 minute mark. It is astonishing to see that it takes only 2 hours for my phone to charge - no outlets needed!
The second test I ran was with the charger attached to my backpack, a little bit of clouds but mostly sunning. I went biking for about an hour and a half (check this great bike out if you'd like), then was walking around after that for another couple of hours and change. After my 90 minutes or so of biking, my phone was at 43% -- not too shabby for the charger that was probably bouncing around, turning to and away from the sun. It took another 2 hours or so to get it all the way to 100%, which again is still quite impressive!

The ECEEN 13W solar charger has passed my tests and has earned a spot in my "outdoor" bag, which I pack all the essentials I'll need for the adventure I go on.
